Empirical Industrial Organization Conference

  • Rice University Global Paris Center and Sciences Po, Department of Economics

  • May 12-13, 2023

Keynote Speaker
  • Ali Hortaçsu (University of Chicago)

Venue
  • The conference venue is situated in a historic mansion next to the Museum of Hunting and Nature, in the Marais:

Club de la Chasse et de la Nature
    L’hôtel de Guénégaud
    60 rue des Archives
    75003 Paris (France)

  • The closest metro stations are: Rambuteau (line 11), Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11), Filles du Calvaire (line 8), and Hôtel de Ville (lines 1 and 11). Metro / bus tickets (“t+ tickets") can be purchased at vending machines in all metro and train stations or via the app Bonjour RATP.

Accommodation
  • Hotel rooms in the Marais neighborhood are typically small, even by Parisian standards. Attendees are advised to book their accommodation early. Many hotels can be found in the vicinity, although the areas immediately surrounding and north of Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est are best avoided.

Registration
  • There is no conference participation fee but we are bound to a capacity of maximum 70 attendees. If you wish to attend the conference, please register via the link provided in the e-mail (https://forms.gle/3pKVdq9k2u8yRhiB8).
