Georgetown University has teamed up with the Université Libre de Bruxelles to offer the Masters Program in Political Economy (MA-PECO).
MA-PECO is jointly run by the Department of Economics at Georgetown University and the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Students take classes on both campuses in Brussels and in Washington, DC (fall and spring terms in Brussels, and summer term in Washington, DC). Instructors include faculty from both universities and policy experts from international institutions. All instruction is in English.
The program provides an excellent international experience for students who desire broad knowledge of quantitative methods and theories concerning the role of political and economic institutions. Upon completion, students receive a diploma from Georgetown University and an advanced certificate in graduate studies from the Solvay-Brussels School.
