Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas

Hailey Haut, a Rice Econ B.A. 2017, is now at the Federal Reserve Board of Dallas in the Houston Branch.  She has made us aware of summer internship opportunities for undergrads and I believe would be open to professional masters students also. Some do not require much expertise and would be opportunities for sophomores and freshmen that commonly cannot get an internship.   Most are in Dallas but there are few in Houston and El Paso.  There are more than 30 different internships available for the summer of 2019 -- many of them of interest to economics/social science/statistics/computer science majors. The openings appear to be limited to  (1) U.S. citizen, (2) U.S. national, (3) U.S. permanent residents who are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization, or (4) U.S. permanent residents who have applied for naturalization within six months of being eligible to do so.

Hailey Haut will be at a Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas booth at the Career Expo at Rice on Tuesday, September 18.  She will also be recruiting for those student looking for permanent employment with the Dallas Fed after graduation in the spring/summer of 2019.
