As we look ahead to next year, please allow me to present the MS in Applied Economics program at Boston College’s Woods College of Advancing Studies. We just wrapped up our fourth year with nearly complete placement of our students in jobs, and 100% placement in Ph.D. programs.
Through all of the changes, we remain committed to maintaining our standards for a rigorous and personalized learning experience, while offering maximum flexibility to better meet our learners where they are. We are happy to share:
- Learning formats – MS in Applied Economics students can choose to complete the program on-ground, online, or a mix of both
- Growth in our direct connection with employers – we are growing our organizational partnerships and connections with top employers for the graduates of our program
- Enhanced alignment with industry – we are reviewing our curriculum and program outcomes with representatives across a wide variety of industry sectors to ensure continued relevance and alignment with their most critical challenges
- Innovative and personalized curricular options – we offer students the ability to design electives in our program for a deep-dive in a particular industry or for a more generalized path; we offer a new dual degree option with our Cybersecurity program; and we continue to offer our Data Analytics graduate certificate program, which can be earned independently or alongside of the MSAE degree
